We had to do it again!
Not ones to fall in line with the typical Valentine’s fare, we are taking the atypical path with another round of competitive showmanship! Are you a CONTENDER? Have you got GAME in the form of song, dance, comedy or other standout traits that will put you ON TOP? Can you grasp that $100 prize from the jaws of victory and dance upon its head in TRUE end-zone fashion? Then put your entry fee money where your mouth is and take the stage in our second-ever karaoke contest!
 
 And for all you spectator types, come witness the SHEER LUNACY of disorganized death-match free-for-all competitive singing!
 
 
 
 
RULES: The winner of the PREVIOUS contest is not eligible to compete, how ever they are invited to sing and will be greeted with a hero’s welcome! All other returning contestants are encouraged to pick a new song. Repeats from the last bout MAY sway your score a little lower. Open singers (i.e. those who are non-paying, non-contestants) can not compete and are not eligible for prizes. Open singers are not guaranteed any number of songs but can perform as time allows, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Officials (the host, judges, and Gio's staff) are not eligible for competition or prizes, but are allowed to perform during open singing as time allows. Contestants are guaranteed at least two songs, as time allows. All contestants must be registered and paid by 10pm. Choose wisely! Please keep the songs under 5 minutes, and have alternates available! Song availability can not be guaranteed. PLEASE NOTE: Due to health-related reasons (I know, lame) the PRE-VALENTINE’S CONTEST is now POST! NEW DATE: Saturday, February 24th at Gio’s Bar and Grill 4857 North Damen, Chicago Music to start @ 9:30pm with open singing Contestants, please be registered and paid before 10pm PLEASE! The entry fee is $8. Judges please be at the bar by 9:30, thank you!
